It’s hard to believe it, but Trust Sulha is five years old!
We hope to be supporting the education of Afghan refugee children for many years to come.
To celebrate, Greg Stobbs of Squirl Art has made as a wonderful new logo (which you can see on the right). There’s more information about Greg at the bottom of this page.
Many, many thanks to all our past and present supporters. Life in Quetta rarely gets any easier for our students and their teachers, but we hope we can improve their life chances, and help build a peaceful future for the region.
Here is a gallery of photos from our schools, and artwork created by the students to celebrate Trust Sulha’s 5th birthday. Click on the pictures to enlarge.
Greg Stobbs, aka Squirl, is a freelance illustrator and street artist working in the South East. He takes inspiration from the hard graphic lines used in graffiti alongside the scrawled naive lines used in child art. Squirl uses spray paint, paint pens and multi layered stencils to develop large scale live works, and pieces for exhibition and sale. He spends most days drawing and using the computer to create unique characters set within their own stories, they often appear ‘cute’ at first glance, but have a slightly sinister undertone.
He is available to contact for Commission, and his work can be purchased through www.squirl-art.com or on Facebook.
